I am a huge Avatar the Last Airbender fan, so I tried to watch the show as if this was my first time ever watching AtLA without any bias. I am sad to say that if this were my first time watching the series and it was through this live action adaptation, I’m afraid I would not be such a big fan, because there was little to no character development and the plot seemed sloppy. Don’t get me wrong, the bending is beautiful the colors are amazing and the costume design is on point, but sadly, the acting was very poor. The dialogue was unrealistic, and again they change so much of the characters development that I would not be interested in Rewatching the next season of this, if it were my first time ever watching the show.. as a remake this is subpar and not at all like the original. I had super high hopes for the show, but to each their own.
