Some of the 3D images were breath taking. Beyond that... the story is horrible. The indigenous characters are portrayed in the same manner as in 1950s westerns. The Marines are turned into enemies. The advertising makes it seem like a great movie to take your kids. It's far too violent for young kids. At one point I thought I was watching a remake of Titanic right down to the musical scores. What a waste of of time. What a waste of an opportunity to create some worthwhile.
