This is hands down the best superhero movie I’ve seen in the past decade—and I’ve watched pretty much all the Marvel and DC films. In one word, it’s a masterpiece. James Gunn’s direction is phenomenal, the script is strong and meaningful, and the performances are powerful, emotional, and delivered by such talented actors. I’ve never really connected with Superman before. He always felt too powerful, with very few external weaknesses or real challenges to bring him down. Creators usually focus more on his godlike abilities than on his flaws and humanity—unlike characters like Batman, Daredevil, or even Arrow.(which is understandable given his godlike powers) But this movie completely changed my perspective. It made me fall in love with Superman as a character. DC Truly is the best!:)
