Weapons was very reminiscent of a combo Tarantino and M Night Shamylan production. The story moves forward a little slow but I enjoyed the acting from Julia Garner, Josh Brolin and Amy Madigan. It is somewhat a psychological thriller/horror movie that makes your heart pound and your body sweat. My Wife and I gave it 4/5 stars and found it overall interesting and entertaining.

Robert DeNiro did a great job playing both parts. I’m surprised they didn’t cast Joe Pesci as Vito. The DeNiro narration worked very well and based on the information I have seen before the movie was very historically accurate. Overall I thought this movie was superior to The Irishmen from a few years back. If you like gangster movies this is a must see.
