Mulan is just a boring character. She has no flaws, which does not make her relatable at all. She is the Ultimate Mary sue, perfect in every way. Oh yeah, they tried to make the movie realistic by removing Mushu, but they add a witch ..😐 why. Remember how smart Mulan is in the original; they don't have that anymore. Apparently, she has this thing called "chi," which makes the film even more boring cause she really doesn't have to train cause she is already powerful. It feels like a one-person mission. They don't encourage working together as any other army does. Don't get me started on the men in this movie. They are just there to be there. They have no purpose. Then they say, "you pretending to be a man is your weakness" is the dumbest thing ever; her pretending to be a man got her there in the first place, so of course, she has to fake it to make it. If I could, I will give this film 0 stars.
