Sometimes, a movie doesn’t just entertain it leaves a deep, lasting impact. Watching this, I couldn't help but wonder how does a director even begin to think with such depth and empathy? The life of Amudhavan, as portrayed in this film, is not just a character but a vision, a lived experience, either seen, heard, or felt by the director. Through his lens, we were given the privilege to witness it. And what a moving experience it was. My heart melted, my eyes welled up, and words truly fall short. Ram, I must confess I still haven’t watched your Thanga Meengal. It's been on my bucket list for long, because I know that once I do, I’ll cry my heart out. That’s the kind of emotional weight your stories carry. The cast in this film delivered nothing short of brilliance. Mamukka was phenomenal as always, but it was Sadhana who left me completely astonished. Her portrayal of a physically challenged character was so authentic, so deeply moving it deserves all the praise in the world. Truly commendable.
