The new *Beetlejuice* was somewhat funny, but I was a little disappointed. The acting was cheesy, and there wasnโt much excitement. I felt that Beetlejuiceโs wife character should have been more developed. Lydia Deetz was terrible this time around, and Delia wasnโt any better. However, I did appreciate how the movie pays homage to the original film, though it could have offered more action to make it engaging.
