Flawed but powerful. An attempt to use artifice to render reality (Sudan, Ukraine, Gaza) that is become artifice through endless recurrence real again, through the artifice of this film. The people who insist on looking at it, despite the damage doing so does, so that we don’t have to, or can as we choose. They, and those they shoot, cannot, albeit for different reasons.
