Horrible. A film by a woman about how great / vicitms women are and how horrible men are. Made up scenes like the irrationally cruel security guard, Anna Kendrick (not the character she was meant to be portraying, but the acress herself) gleefully belittling men, the typical horrible male tv show host and the weak boyfriend who doesn't accept that his girlfriend is 90% sure she can identify a murderer, all to the point of how rubbish men are. Thanks, Anna, for setting things back a few years.

So how is 'I act white' an OK thing to be said by a non-white (arguably) character, meaning worse than very unattractively, in response to a white person's offer of kindness? The white guy (obviously) just chuckles in response to the non-white (arguably) woman's (obviously) racial slur. For example, would a white character saying 'I act black' to erm, anyone really, and meaning it pejoratively be deemed acceptable by mainstream studios? Oh, and she - 5' 4" mid-20s - had 'taken a swing' at Laurence Fishburne's character at some time prior, but it was all in the past. Had she missed the pinata at a birthday party and hit him by accident, possibly? Laughable. As for all the baddies, two guesses as to the gender and ethnicity.

First off - Viktor went through all the women in town, eh? All 5 foot and a pinch of him? Really? As for the rest of it, I can't even be bothered to try to make sense. Telegraphed reveal with a ludicrous proposition (Men in Black tried, at least). Opposite thingies combine to make a giant beastie, but not before the rest of the 'plot' can happen. OK. As usual these days, male characters are dumb and/or pathetic. Luther is a slapstick stooge, Diego is a deluded fool and even Five becomes a lovelorn sap - for Lila, no less. Who is her usual perma-smarmy self, with the tonal & expressive range of an Alexa. As usual, not enough of Robert Sheehan, who as the best actor of the bunch gets the least screen time. Shame.
