The India episodes are somewhat lacking. I understand that when you get to see travel shows about foreign cities, it isn't as predictable or boring as when you watch about a city you have been to yourself.
Still the lack of a proper direction or something to seek, that could have tied up the episodes and made it an adventure, like the striving to find La Dolce Vita across Italian regions or to sum up the vibes of Japanese cities in Haiku, made the India episodes feel hollow.
Also, the lack of characters like Yujiro and Claudia was somewhat depressing. Yujiro wasn't only fun to watch, he surprisingly helped learn things better and so did Claudia and Paolo. All of them felt like they are so woven into their respective cultures, unlike Aditi. She felt foreign and somewhat unoriginal.
