Lydia Piacquadio

I have watched the movie series since I was about 10 years old so when I saw this show was going to be made I was very excited. After watching it I felt I only got a small taste of essence from the movies. Clarice in the show doesn’t have the same personality or feeling as the Clarice from Silence Of the Lambs. I do believe though that Rebecca Breeds does try to portray Clarice as close as possible to the Jodie Foster’s Clarice, I don’t think it comes very close to it. She isn’t as moved or pushed to find an answer as Jodie Foster was. Now onto the filming, this is supposed to be set in the 90’s or early 2000’s, it’s not really. Everything looks like it’s set in todays time, except for her flashbacks which are the only thing plus people saying that they are fans of hers because of her job with Hannibal and Buffalo Bill that ties it back to the movies. I wish that they had filmed it differently and made it feel more like the movies. On the other hand I do like the show it is intriguing seeing Clarice after Hannibal and I like the FBI shows so if you like that type of stuff this is probably for you, but you might be slightly disappointed with the amount of Silence of The Lamb, Hannibal, and Red Dragon feeling you get from the show. I would try watching it though you never know what you may think of it.
