I thought it was very good. It's like watching a play. There are no closeups...no reaction shots. Its a different way of shooting a movie. However I couldn't get Disney's GE Carousel of Progress out of my head bc there is a strong similarity. Also (spoiler alert) alzheimer disease sufferers don't suddenly exclaim "i remember now" ...but that's artistic license I guess. Worth the night out.

It seemed kind of hacky playing up on rural stereotypes. The ending is unrealistic

One scene has a car explode in a parking garage. The next scene the police are examining the car but now it's on the side of the highway. No explanation.

I know it's made for kids but what a mess of a plot. I swear the dinosaurs will be talking in the next one

No country for old men with a kid. I just couldn't get beyond the fact that an arizona rancher on the border with Mexico wouldn't know ANY semblance of spanish...

The plot may have been groundbreaking 80 years ago but today it barely compares to a good Columbo episode. I won't give away anything but there are some serious plot holes where I was like "wait...what? How the hell?" Each victim on the boat is carried away to the kitchen freezer by a group of teenage girls who appear out if nowhere like oompa Loopas from willy Wonka and the chocolate factory...I actually started to chuckle

I don't know about this show. I just don't think there's a town that isolated anymore that it'd be able to host such a criminal enterprise. I like Bruce McGill but his southern boss hog character was kinda over the top...he should of just wore a colonel sanders outfit. I kept expecting the general lee to pull up. It's basically Rambo solves a crime. One question I have about Reacher is if he's constantly drifting around the country when does he lift weights? The guys ripped and huge but u never have be like "I have to go to the gym now...its wednesday...I work my biceps on Wednesdays.

Maybe I missed it but my recollection is that the iconic photo of Hart, with rice on his lap and the monkey business behind them is what really sank him. The script just seemed to skim the surface.
