I think one of my favorite games of all times. It has a little bit of everything I have enjoyed playing over the years. A bit of The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption, even Farcry as well as movies and tv shows like The Walking Dead, I am legend and Sons of Anarchy. Most people may say that Naughty Dog games are superior and in some aspects they are but when I compare The last of us with Days Gone, I think Days Gone is more fun to play due to open world, lots of activities/ secondary missions and the motorcycle that makes everything more dynamic. Nothing else had me fascinated like The last of us until I played this game. I spent nights non sleep playing it in the first week. The story is compelling, gameplay is amazing, graphics are stunning and I had a true connection with the protagonist Deacon. The only con is that I only played this game after five years of its release date and knowing that it won't have at least a second game is truly devastating... I decided to give it a try as it was free on PS Plus but if I knew it was this good before, I would be happy to have paid release price for it. I really don't understand why this gem had negative reviews when released. I truly think it is in the same level of games like Uncharted, TLOU, RDR2, God of War etc. I am now a fan of Bend Studio and am waiting for new titles from them.
