This book was recommended to me by a friend who said this was one of the best books they’ve ever read. I can say just the same now that I’ve finished reading the book. So beautifully written.
Taylor’s writing, her ways of portraying love, Hollywood, every day life even of a mega star, the LGBT community… the book had its major themes, but the way they were embedded into Evelyn’s everyday living and in her life’s biggest moments, was such a compelling read.
I believe anyone who reads this book can relate to it. Evelyn Hugo is bold, she is fearless, she makes things happen and she has trauma and pain just like the rest of us.
This book makes me want to love a little harder, hug everyone a little tighter.
Thank you Taylor.
