Why Oprah ruin The Color Purple? I’m sorry but I thought it was a huge Miss. Overdone and Corny! Casting Fantasia as Miss Celie was just wrong and ruined the movie. No offense to Fantasia but that was not her role.
The over the top Alvin Ailey like dance numbers took away from the story instead of enhancing it. Should have left greatness alone.
