It was an interesting, self indulgent, lengthy way of trying to demonstrate the follies and perceived lack of durability of empires. It presents the view that states will always eventually fall. This is underscored Shakespeare’s narrative takes on it all. Whilst history shows past in such empires did eventually fall, recent ones still believe that they will endure forever and keep ploughing on 😞 It I’llk was a hard watch after getting where it’s going. It required some patience to get to the end of the film 😆
