i don’t really get why so many people like this book. It is beautifully written but has a lot of unnecessary details, the author could’ve saved us at least 300 pages to read for those details only. A lot of unfinished work on the psychology of the characters. The five characters don’t have any psychology of their own, they are all twisted and similar except maybe for Henry, which makes it very hard for the reader to tie any bond with the characters. Everything is predictable, they kill someone, feel guilty about it and then end. The beginning was starting okey but then it was very long and sometimes even boring to read. Very repeating lots of times.
