Haunting, profound, moving, enlightening on so many levels. A must watch for everyone. Peter Jackson's best work. I have seen this now, 7 times. When you look at those faces, and listen to voices, it brings the past back to the present day. I have to say, this movie has really affected me, I am saddened that so many young (boys/men) had to die for a war of the Empires. My great uncle was a teenage tommy.. (14 years old).. they just turned a blind eye. He survived the Somme. I am very angry and saddened at how our young men were sent off to die. This movie is simply one of the best things I have ever seen. It bears witness to the bravery of those poor lads. I
