Absolutely horrific. From the writing, directng, screenplay, acting, dialogue, story, choreography, etc etc. Beyond terrible and utterly disrespectful to the source material. I stopped watching halfway through the second episode.

Pleasantly surprised. People comparing or using the video games as a metric to judge this ADAPTATION are setting themselves up for an uninteresting experience - and deservedly so. The writing is, undoubtedly, the weakest aspect of the series so far and some of the dialogue falls flat. The acting can be awkward at times but is mostly satisfactory. But that's by no means saying its horrendous, its just mediocre thus far. However, the CGI, props, costume design, set pieces and action sequences are all fantastic. Props to the sound engineering team as well, weapon sounds and impacts are meaty and satisfying. Its way too early to objectively judge the series, but it definitely had me smiling and gleefully enjoying alot of the scenes.
