If you want to experience the Roman Empire in 120 A.D. in the North Briton this movie puts you in a Roman Shield ( Scutum Romanum ) and Roman sword ( Roman GLADIUS ) running side by side in formation to go into battle. This Period of World History is amazing and I am grateful that this movie was created.
That time frame is not pretty and there was a plethora of killing. It is real human meat grinder at certain times of the movie but a lot was know of this period.
Do not make a mistake misunderstanding what this film is about. IT IS WAR and Violence!
