Alice Osborne

I saw this through to the bitter and because of all the good reviews, thinking it would get interesting...alas. Can't explain the praise for this series, it was so boring, it was just the same thing happening over and over again for the first four episodes. None of the characters are likeable. And they just seem like offensive caricatures of black people. The main guy is a spoiled brat, his parents are overbearing and repetitive. The girl is thick as two short planks, constantly making nonsensical decisions. Nothing adds up either...Justin is portrayed as having musical talent when his stuff sounds like he pressed all the effects buttons on a Casio for 5 minutes. The girls mum is supposed to be poor but then as soon as it's prom she can afford balloon Bridges, limos, buffets and hundreds of pounds worth of dresses and accessories 🤔...the dad is a successful restaurant chef, yet he's home every night for dinner. These kind of details get on my nerves, not realistic. Also, how did the girls teachers know she had a sextape, but none of them told her mum?? Don't waste 8 hours of your life hoping this series gets better.
