Great effects, great cast, looks incredible ( I have a universal blu ray, I don't know from when) but I own several 4k blu rays that don't look as good, and most importantly a truly great script. Almost everything that happens is set up and payed off. Yes a jaws in the desert rip-off is a very dumb premise, but I can't imagine it being pulled off any better than this.

A film in need of direction. My review needs 30 characters to be published. Even if you like older films this one is not good

Suffers from the same problems forrest Gump does for me: neither are movies, they are just a collection of montages aimed at bewildering boomers with neostolgia

Just an overall underwhelming experience. I've heard of John Henry and Paul Bunyan, but who is Pecos bill? Perhaps I'm not well read enough. The film is at best meandering and at worst terrible. There are some really good 90s live action disney films... this is not one of them which is sad because it has a really good cast and plenty of capital behind it

Clearly another series in an almost endless line of others that started without any idea where it was going. Very stupid, very violent, and very graphic, save for the former I can forgive the latter two. Essentially the same level of show you'd see on abc, nbc, or cbs except they swear and exhibit nudity. As I wrote previously very stupid and edited very poorly. Not terrible but still not good. If you have nothing else to watch I guess go for it, if your more selective than pick something else

It stinks, shot and edited like a, albeit relatively higher budget, tv show. At certain points characters actions are ludicrous. I'll be vague, but there is nothing tying you to the crime, why would you stalk the only person looking into it? Very cheap with casting, save for the lead and district attorney, any actor you recognize shows up for at most 8 minutes of screen time.

Executed very well, unfortunately it only serverd to further propagandize America and the west as a whole. Torture is painted as an acceptable and necessary interrogation technique, the American governments actions following 9/11 as a necessity, and worst of all heroic. Still though Katharine Bigalow has once again proven her merits as a filmmaker.

Relatively well acted, well executed audio and video, but misguided political pandering. Pretending that Obama's and Trump's federal enforcement of the "war on drugs" and local and federal policing is radically different is absurd

Not terrible, but not funny enough to be called a comedy and not clever enough to be a crime drama. Horrible pacing and editing, overall an ok movie that's understandably been lost to time. Really annoying over reliance on music, at least 2 times there would be a song with another like 30 seconds following it

Better than the average tv show, but that's not saying much. It's clear very early on, I'd say second or third season, the writers had no clue or plan where the show was going. It became similar to something like svu, violence for shock value and not for plot value. Plotlines and characters come in and out with little explanation, character motivations and actions seem outright stupid, and from season to season subtext and narrative change on a dime. Like I wrote its better than a lot of tv, but that isn't saying much.
