Part one and two were good but compared to the book it lost so much. Yes the book was dense and had a mystical side but those moments were what gave it substance. The other major part of the book was the relationship between Channi and Paul and how the death of their child affected them. She never turned her back on him in the book unlike the movie. To be honest I found more that didn't make sense like them blasting the mountains when in the book they blasted the Shield Wall, which was a man made structure at the mouth of Arrakeen leading to the desert where the sand was already there, blasting the mountain range would not have gotten the Bedrock out of there therefore would not have let the sand worms pass.
