It was fine, I guess. I was super excited to watch it when I realized there was actually a second movie. The first half of the movie was decent and it was quite funny to see Lela and Tanner’s reactions to Mack and Brady’s world… the rest kinda dragged on. The songs were great and so was the choreography, but the ending was super disappointing. SPOILERS! So basically, Mack and Brady have this talk on how their memories of each other would vanish because if the movie didn’t exist then they wouldn’t have met. But then after that, Mack proceeds to tell Lela to change the movie? Almost as if she wanted to forget Brady? So then Lela and Tanner go off on the magic surfboard Brady made and they make it back to their world. The next few scenes basically show that Mack and Brady forgot each other and that Wet Side Story is now called Lela The Queen of the Beach (or something?) Could just be my personal opinion but I feel like they could’ve done something a lot better with the ending. Don’t particularly know what, but it just ruined the whole movie for me.
