Beautifully written and I put him in the category of one of the greats. Sad and heartbreaking subject matter. Set in the late 30’s but timeless. Great read.

There has certainly been a marked drop off in viewers for Andrew Marr and it is clear that he is past his sell by date. I did feel incredible empathy post stroke but his interviewing technique of late is just not good enough, most notably with jeremy Corban which was atrocious and beyond belief
