Silly, clichéd and painfully unimaginative. Human race is on the verge of extinction as NYC is suddenly attacked by blind, flesh-eating aliens that fell out of the sky, but all the protagonist can think of is getting to Harlem to eat her favorite pizza. The movie is supposed to be a prequel but it neither adds nor explains anything from the first two films. It merely repeats the original plot using NYC as a backdrop.The cat is a more interesting character than any human in the movie. The CG creatures are anything but scary. From the unnatural way they crawl and attack at super high speeds to the generic screeching sounds they make every time they appear, everything about them feels lame. This movie is a waste of your time and money. I would give zero stars if I could.
