Never seeing the theatre production I had no expectations. A very drawn out and slow movie. The last 20 minutes had the most drama. Would have preferred this being less of a musical and more of a movie with only some singing. Acting wasn’t the greatest when they actually did speak. Very disappointing. Doesn’t do the original movie (which i absolutely love) any justice and cannot see what all the hype is about.
