Honestly, I had mixed feelings about this movie. Jarhead (2005) was a very unique war film which really portrayed how dull the Gulf War was. My father felt the same way when he was deployed to Iraq in 2004. Jarhead 2, however, felt more like a cash grab than an actual sequel to one of my favorite war films made. Jarhead was about the dullness of the Gulf War and how a group of soldiers were coping with it, but Jarhead 2 was just action packed thriller war film that really followed no one's actual experiences. It felt too... non-Jarhead for my taste. Would I watch it? That's up to you. It had okay-ish acting, okay-ish CGI and an okay-ish storyline/plot. If you were a fan of the original Jarhead fan, I would not watch it. This movie was more of a big disappointment and a cash grab to me.
