What a movie this is, man! Emotionally gripping and gratifying and what not. I will keep blaming myself for being an absolute moron for not watching this movie before. Last month, I had to watch this by default and boy am I groped in! From the acting by both the leads to the music to the amazing story line. I LEGIT WATCHED THIS MOVIE 10 TIMES IN THREE DAYS! YES, I BINGE-WATCHED HIGHWAY!!! That's how good it is. You're honestly missing out if you haven't watched this movie yet.

by far the worst movie of imtiaz ali. sara and kartik seriously need to learn how to act! the only knight in a shining armour was randeep hooda who took up the herculean task of making this movie worthwhile watching by giving a stellar of a performance. this movie is messed up to the core and contains bad, overtly hyperbolic performances by sara and kartik made it a pain to watch. there were about five instances in the film when my interest drifted in the winds but the only reason i finished it till the end was my admiration for randeep's performance. he was the only guy who could seep into the skin of the character of a mature, middle-aged man and he depicts that beautifully. for the young lot, it felt as if they were vomiting a hefty load of unnecessary dialogues on each other that neither made sense nor were required. WHERE IS THE HIGHWAY-LEVEL FILM-MAKING GENIUS?! WE NEED HIM BACK! the one who's making trashy films like love aaj kal 2 and when harry met sejal is not imtiaz ali. its his doppelganger.
