I was a bit disappointed by this book tbh, I enjoyed the binding so much last year and I thought this book would kinda suck me in just as much, but alas it did not. This book has a lot going on, there isn't one set theme to this book so it got me confused quite a bit! This book tells 4 different storylines, but the most interesting for me was The Rat because of the mystery.

Holy mother of all that's good! I thoroughly enjoyed every single page! Okay, so now that that's out of the way..... oh my gosh! What a page turner 😵 I'm literally still coming to terms with this book and how I didn't wana stop reading it coz it was so juicy! Can I just say that i LOVED that the book went from all sweet and innocent in the first half to hardcore smut in the second half of the book. It felt like 2 seperate books but also not at the same time. Now I need to get the other books by this author coz I'm definitely hooked for life 🤭

Such a refreshing read, and super fun (if you don't count the countless times Lucky was unlucky). I loved the character growth, how she tried to move on and becoming a better person, and that she found some light at the end of the tunnel.

While I loved the smut (who doesn't) I couldn't help but cringe a bit at just how vulgar the dirty talk is in this book 😳 I also loved that I got a bit of Christmas spirit in June, it's never too early guys! Also, I liked the fact that there was no beating around the bush with the love interests here, there was no real slow burn and it was refreshing. I'm so glad that I popped my Tessa Bailey cherry at last, so now I know more or less what I'm getting myself into with her other books.

Plot twist after plot twist after plot twist....... this book couldn't have been any better! This is the first book I've read by this author, and I'm so glad the chaptrrs were short because it made the book that much better to follow. I was not a big fan of Will, if he was my boyfriend I would've told him to f off so many damn times, but then he came around and I hated him a bit less so 🤷‍♀️ Great great absolutely amazing thriller book, and a must-read for those looking for a brilliant murder mystery with lots of questions right until the very last page 👏👏👏

It's been a while since I've read fantasy, so this was really refreshing. I found myself breezing through like 70% of this book today because it was so good. I enjoyed the personal journey, the adventure, the confidence, the new relationships and the plot twist at the end.

The ending I never knew I needed 👏👏👏👏 I loved this journey for Fable, and I'm so happy that she got the closure she needed. I almost didn't pick up this book (coz fantasy isn't really my thing) but I'm glad I did. There's just something about getting lost in a fantasy world that makes every other book pale in comparison. My mission now is to get my hands on the rest of the books in this series ✌️

Why can't all books be like 200 pages long? It was short enough that I didn't get bored, but long enough to have an actual plot. This was a great book about how society outcasts women who have opinions, women who are different, women who stand up for themselves and just overall feminism. I'm not one for politics, and I know that this is fiction, but it touches on some realness that happened way back when so it was a bit tough to read.

I just love a hea, don't you? The book starts off with best friends Dig and Deen, who are both 30 and can't help but find themselves in relationships that don't last. I quite enjoyed the banter between the two of them, and a spanner got thrown into the works when Dig's blast from the past makes a surprising return. The drama was definitely there, but I wish it didn't take as long as it did for the build-up.

For a backlist book this was pretty great, but I was expecting a bit more drama and chilling discoveries. I loved the character growth for Ana, and I loved that they finally got closure, and I especially loved the plot twist about Zander. I read the paperback version, so it was actually 450 pages instead of 368, but nonetheless it was worthwhile!
