Just watched the first 2 episodes of War Of The Worlds via SBS. Incredibly slow paced, superfluous quasi-soap-drama, with dollops of 'wokeness', padding out what could be a reasonably ok sci-fi outing, if they do indeed actually get on with things. I'll wait for the next episode and then decide whether or not to sit through all 8 episodes. If rumours of a 2nd series are true, it's either going to improve or there are a lot of people in the industry with money to throw away. So far I rate it 3/10
