If there was ever a reason for the BBC to be defunded this is it, yes I know it’s BBC America but I’m afraid it has poisoned the whole set up from top to bottom for me. The discworld books by Terry Pratchet were a visionary’s take on all things from diversity,inequality, capitalism and base human stupidity to identify jut a few and with just a paragraph of words make you laugh but also take note of all manner of ills in the world. “The Watch” has decided to disseminate all that was good about the books, distill it and then throw it away leaving a hodgepodge of miscast, misdirected actors fighting a muddled screenplay heavily prioritising feminist and lgbt characters not realising that Terry Pratchet has been doing a far better job of it than they for years. If you haven’t read the books please do, you will soon see my point. May Havelock feed them all Blowfish!
