It tries to gain your trust while saving your skin. It is both sincere and sacrificial - what you would expect from a close friend or family member. It stays true to its core while helping a tormented and determined Atlas Shepherd to right a wrong in a sci-fi future. This is what the ChatGPTs, Caffes, AutoMLs, DeepBrains, Co-Pilots of the world should aspire to...give us an AI tool that we can call our own. Kudos to Netflix producers and JL for showing them the way forward.

Our great grandfather started a business that has been passed down to the present generation with the support of suppliers, contractors, customers and extended family in a manner not unlike The Brothers Sun's plot. For most Asians with family business, the movie reflects our upbringing to the present day minus the guns, violence and gangs which is utterly exciting and enjoyable as long as it remains on screen.

I'm not a fan of boxing and I don't even watch it during SEA Games or Olympic Games - its brutal to hurt another person just to get a medal. But when it is to box the bad guys, hurt them to save the good guys - its different. And Bloodhounds is more than different. Its about empathy; bonding among like-minded victims, perpetrators and defenders of the homeless. It doesn't have to resort to violence but that's what keeping you on the edge, watching, hoping to see that justice is served at the end. Bodies fall along the way but your interest to follow until the final 8th episode does not.

Totally glued to the conversation between mum and daughter, how it mirrors their secret lives and how each of them makes decisions that serves their own purposes. The fighting scenes were entertaining and you never know if Boksoon or her daughter will survive until the end.
