The author of this book is who accused Amy Conney Barrett of being a "white colonizer" for adopting 2 black children. I'm not sure how he is promoting diversity of families and inclusion in this book when he makes racist and hurtful statements about people who adopt outside their own race. He sure doesn't seem to promote the values of acceptance, diversity, and inclusion that his book seeks to promote. Be mindful and question whose work you are reading to your children and their message for our society.
