I am breathless and reeling from this masterpiece of storytelling. Humanity is running from its own emptiness. The shame of not overcoming our emptiness (thru wealth, family, work) motivates us to do what doesn’t serve us and the fear that emptiness will catch us makes it impossible to deviate from the vicious cycle. So we must hide the emptiness at all costs to suppress the fear. We push it down and down and down again…until we explode. Did I mention Im breathless?!!?
