R. Zornes

Totally absorbing account of Turing who invented a type of computer to break Natzi codes. His work saved millions of lives and shortened the 2nd world war. Ironically the same government he helped save persecuted him for being a homosexual. After his conviction, he committed suicide a year later. This sad state of affairs demonstrates once again that all governments can be, and often are, callous and barbaric towards their own citizens.
