To all the people whining about CGI: over 12,000 B-17 bombers and 15,000 Mustang fighters were made in WW2, sometimes over 1,000 aircraft would fly together in a single mission, in a single wing. WW2 was a biblical, herculean effort. For this series to be accurate, to truly pay respect to the scale of the war and what these men have been through, CGI MUST be used. This series would simply be inaccurate or not exist before CGI, and it is just remarkable how accurate the CGI bombers are.
