The new cast of Today, especially Brooke Boney, Deb Knight and Tony Jones (the sports guy) have really unbalanced the show and made it an unpleasant chore to watch. I had little truck for Karl S but at least he was funny from time to time and brought some energy and life to the show. Stevie Jacobs brings decorum to the show but he alone cannot save it. I had some hopes Today would lift when Brendan Ragless appeared around Christmas (he brought some much needed class and gravitas) but when he was not engaged and the current line up was cemented in, that really was the death-knell as far as I am concerned. The upside of this experience is we've found what a good show Sunrise is and it is such a pleasure to watch. My wife and I have watched Today since its inception- I guess it is time for a change.
