I didnโt know what to expect 10 minutes in, when I started to realise that the entire film might be contained within the emergency call centre and the tension that builds is tangible and suspenseful. Once you have got to grips with the fact youโre in for a claustrophobic thriller you can get on with appreciating Asgerโs predicament.
Without giving too much away, the viewer is drawn in breathlessly, with clues as to Asgerโs own personal issues, having been demoted to call centre after a misdemeanour as a police officer, and you can sympathise with the worrying โthreadโ of conversations between Asger and Iben who has been kidnapped and with her daughter at home. When the story plays out you learn more about the situation and whilst i wouldnโt exactly describe this film as โenjoyableโ since that doesnโt really cover the emotions experienced while watching it, it is definitely a very interesting one and well worth the mere 88 minutes of film time.
Very well written and well acted by a skeleton cast, holding the viewerโs attention from beginning to end. Highly recommended.
