Really wish Julian Fellowes would stop copying storylines from old movies (Mrs. Miniver & the village rose competition anyone?)……… this is just Singing in the Rain without the musical numbers???

Just when you thought Channel 5 couldn’t do any worse than Love Rat, then we get Coma the following week…….Jason Watkins being their male go to version of Sally Lindsey (equally as one dimensional). Saving graces being Jonas Armstrong & Claire Skinner, hence the two stars, both way better than the sadly miscast Watkins.

Between the Irish/Kiwi accents & the constant mumbling I could hardly understand a word ……..any potential plot completely lost.

Really can’t bear to watch Sally Lindsey in any more low rent Channel 5 dramas, she really cannot act!! The storyline seems strikingly similar to the equally ill conceived Cold Call……woman conned out of all her money! Why do Channel 5 use her for what seems like everything, surely they can do better??

Big fan of Schitt’s Creek & really wanted to like this, but don’t think I have ever seen so many cliches crammed into one film! A cross between a Richard Curtis romcom & an episode of Emily in Paris…….which obviously will appeal to some!!

Just appalling, do these screen writers not understand the basics of story telling……you ned a beginning, a middle AND an end? It’s like no one could think of a way to end the film (the theme tune to Friends, really??)?? Shows how desperate Netflix are that they would commission such drivel, and indeed how Julia Roberts is to agree to star in it (though I did think that she was excellent!!).

Not really believable for me as (correct me if wrong?) but Martin Compston wasn’t even born (despite beard & specs) when the 80’s flashbacks are all important? Does he really have to be shoehorned into absolutely everything???
