Watched the movie, "We Were Soldiets," again. I have to say it is the best movie ever made about the VietNam war and war in general. The direction is superb, the action is excruciating, the horror of it all is gut-wrenching, and the scenes of the wives on the home front are simply heartbreaking. Based upon the best-selling book "We Were Soldiers Once ... and Young" by Lt. Gen. Harold G. Moore (Ret.) and journalist Joseph L. Galloway, this compelling war drama depicts the true story of the first major battle between the United States and North Vietnamese forces. It is a film about uncommon valor and nobility under fire, loyalty among soldiers, and the heroism and sacrifice of men and women both home and abroad.

A moving memoir and tribute to Vera Brittain and her loved ones. A simply wonderful, moving, and unforgettable performance by Alicia Vikander.

A dark parody that got lost in translation. Where is Mel Borrke when yiu need him? So bad I turned it off half way through.

Watching Get Up on ESPN... For those of you who don't know, it's supposed to be a talk show about sports. However, with Mike Greenberg as the host and his usual guests, they spend one and a half hours on the Cowboys and a half hour on every other team and/or sport. There's no insight, no perspective, and no real news about any team or sport but the Cowboys. In fact, Greeny admitted that they are all Cowboy fans, and all they do is gush about Dak, Jerry Jones, and the Cowboys mystique, which is really nothing more than a losing franchise since the 1990s. It's just a really bad show. I'm done with that show.

One of the finest movies ever made. Brilliantly written and acted. The musical score is beautiful. Best Picture of the Year!
