Read if you want to hear a 28 year old adult complain about having no money while she works part time and is on 7 government assistance programs. Couldn’t get more than 30% through without being annoyed with all the wallowing. The show is amazing and makes you root for the character, because she ACTUALLY has struggles. In the book she gets the paid child support and doesn’t send her daughter with the dad with diapers even.
