Played this game a lot as a kid, and just re bought a ps2 and this game to play it. In my opinion it still holds up well.
The storyline is quick and to the point, but never really leaves you wondering "Why am I here again?"
The game play is punchy and unique, with one downfall being the clunkiness of ps2 analog. My favorite part about the gameplay is once you have the controls down, you're basically a one man army.
The areas throughout are varied and interesting, with each area offering different environmental interactions and new abilities, to include telekinesis.
Coming back for an edit, it's really come to my attention how much this game put into its multilayer, as there are 21 levels ready to play from the start with one secret unlockable area. I feel this game would've been a lot more well received in the xbox 360 days when online console multiplayer really took off.
5 stars for holding up over the years, 4 stars overall.
