Watched coz I was bored and was expecting it to be not that great or not that thought provoking. Its not a perfect show by any means, there are some issues when you really think about all the aspects. But the moment when Gia shows up expecting a make up and they start arguing. It cut me deep. The things they said sounded too close to home with my ex best friend who was my childhood best friend for over a decade. And I felt like I was Gia. Feeling used for fame. Literally. She used me for my camera for her cosplay career she spent all her spare time doing. And in hindsight seeing her online. She was caught up in making a name for herself online and obsessing over it. And in the end it killed our friendship. And this movie really hit home for me. Except at least Ericahad clarity. But this movie like show was pretty heartfelt. And the friendship bond being the strength of the movie is what really made it stand out and made it so good. There's not a ton of movies that show that. It's usually love relationship based.and the show was really quirky and weird, and unrealistic at times, but I liked it.
