The cast is great. It is one of the few exorcist movies that touches on the humanity of the priests, or more their greediness for power, a more believable story than them being invincible just because they are ordained. I believe it's one of the reasons it was banned by the church, as it would make people doubt their faith in priests. It's a shame they didn't continue the series, would have loved to see the evolution of the characters.
