This is a gritty and real story about Dr. Naa's experiences from childhood to adulthood that led her to becoming a doctor in charge at a clinic in Ghana caring for persons with HIV and AIDS who otherwise had no medical care available to them. That's just the first part. This is also a story about the struggles of Dr. Naa, her husband and founder of the clinic, Eddie, and the clinic staff to provide care for the patients and keep the clinic going in spite of many obstacles, large and small. It's also a love story of how Dr. Naa and Eddie met and fell in love and started a family. Finally, there are the raw and painful, yet sometimes hopeful, accounts of various patients of the clinic. Expect to be moved, enlightened, entertained and inspired.
