I watched all of Season 1 hoping to like the main character Danny and never could understand her. She's should be a strong woman who put herself through med school and loves her sister and job. Instead she worked out her issues by going to Human Resources on a man she supposedly was in love with, had little compassion and sympathy, was cruel to others with her words. I found her actions self centered. She was never very honest with herself or others.
It wasn't Xander's fault she had a morality crisis! She could have ended their affair and moved on but expected others to understand her needs.
I did like the other characters and their supporting roles when they could get a word in.
The storyline about the Tom, Cass and Nia was well written.
The developing friendship between Sophie and Camille was sweet. However the end of the Season cliffhanger of Camille having a fiance was just thrown in. Why can't two women be just friends and support and love each other without a love interest?
