Bad writing. Bad character development. No connection to anything, whether it was religion or other cultural things. Seemed like one girl's side was preferred over the other. Soulless and dull, no mystery, no suspense, nothing to keep you on your toes and plenty of flashy effects just to try to engage with the horror theme. The only good thing about this movie is that the actors tried their best with what was given to them.
