Of course people are going to give Black Cinema low stars... Now let's get to the point!! In true Spike Lee format, the truth is in your face! Vietnam Vets were spit on when they returned home, regardless of race! SO imagine what Black and Brown soldiers felt being on the front-lines? How about ALL soldiers that didn't even want to be there but had to because of the draft! And though this is a fictional story about retrieving gold, it also touched on the thoughts and feelings of the other side! The atrocities committed during the Vietnam War are still coming to light today...
