A fantastically immersive experience. The soundscape was incredible, the visual canvas was perfectly other-worldly and the action was super cool. Gotta love some Freman parkour. It introduced the new villain so well I’ll definitely have nightmares about him tonight. He was reminiscent of the devil in Mel Gibson’s Passion. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was its lack of emotional connection throughout the movie until the final scene. Can’t wait for part 3.

Loved it! So creative, great songs and acting. Very well cast. I thought the bits where they took some creative licence were well thought through (though I thought the final scene with Antipater could have tied in to the fact that he was King when Jesus was crucified, like “we will meet again Jesus of Nazareth”). This is my new favourite nativity movie.
